Angels & Demons and Bad Hair

Angels & Devils, the sort of prequel to The Da Vinci Code, is a go with Tom Hanks reprising his role as Robert Langdon. Apparently, the first film met with great international success. They must have seen a different cut of the film because it was deadly boring. How Ron Howard managed to make Paris the most dull city in the world is a trick of movie magic that should never be repeated.

I’ve heard that Angels & Devils is a better read than The Da Vinci Code which I found quite entertaining. I hope the same proves true with the movie. And as boring as it was, I’m still interested to see this one. Anything with historical conspiracies and secret societies can’t lose (probably explains why I log so much time with the History and Discovery channels). Hopefully, Ron Howard will bring some more excitement to this installment. Anything with the Illuminati has to have bizarre rituals and crazy shit.

“Angels and Demons” was definitely a better read than “The Da Vinci Code” so long as they remain fairly accurate to the storyline and pacing. The book is all about various clues leading form one to another, so there’s a chance it’ll end up something like “National Treasure” which could be a good or bad thing depending on who you ask. But you’ll get a kick out of it cause not only does it have the Illuminati, it also has explosions and an anti-matter bomb!
