That Jet Li and Jackie Chan film is called The Forbiddne Kingdom. Jet Li will play both the Monkey King and the silent monk and Jackie Chan will play T’sa Ho. So far, so good. Here’s where it starts to suck. An American teen finds the Monkey King’s As-You-Will Iron Cudgel in a pawn shop which transports him back in time to China.
There is no longer any reason to see this movie.

Did you hear about the Jackie Chan reality show in the works? I guess he’s trying to find the next Jackie Chan show. You can apply to be trained as Jackie was in acrobatics and stuff. |

Isn’t this par for the course with the Monkey King? I remember there was a mini series on NBC or ABC that did a similar story where an American writer somehow got caught up in helping the Monkey King save the first book after he found a magic pen or page or something. |
