Holy fuck me! This is the first official pic of Heath Ledger as the Joker! That is a seriously fucked up makeup job. If you saw that face in the pale moonlight, you’d shit your pants backwards.

This will give me nightmares forever. I’m already deathly afraid of clowns. Can’t wait to see Ledger laughing it up in the theaters!

I don’t know — kinda strikes me as Brando circa Apocalypse Now getting a little too enthusiastic with the drag queen look. However, I’m willing to give the movie and Heath Ledger the benefit of the doubt.

I may just sit there quietly muttering about how I would have cast Crispin Glover instead. :)

Looks a little more like Apocalypse Wow, actually.

I’m not looking forward to this movie at all. I hated Batman Begins, and this just doesn’t look good at all. There are so many other things they could have done, but they insist on redoing the same crap over and over.

I’d like to see a comic book movie where they don’t kill off the villian at the end. I’d like to see a comic book movie that they actually put the time and effort into making it good.

Spider-Man was good (the first one only), but Superman Returns was crap. I have suspicion that this will be as well.

Check the site again. The joker killed it. This makes me even more excited to see the movie than anything. I agree about them killing the Joker. If they kill him at the end I will be pissed.

ok. i wouldve chosen someone else for joker, too. and i would’ve given him the fruit loop grin. BUT, i wouldnt have casted Cilian murphy as Scarecrow or gary oldman as gordan, all of which were great in batman begins. nolan is a sick ass director and he’ll pull it off. this joker is gunna be creepy: the kind of villain you remember.
