Frank Miller explains why Sin City 2 may be delayed:

Sin City 2 is still likely to happen. Just not right away. The script is written and Robert and I are raring to go, but it looks like I’m going to be doing The Spirit first and Robert’s going to be doing Barbarella first.

I knew it had to be bullshit. I mean, Rodriguez and Miller hardly need anyone’s permission to make a movie. The Spirit will be a great flick and help build the anticipation for Sin City 2. Barbarella can go screw and probably will, but it won’t be so bad that Rodriguez gets run out of town.

We’ll get our fill of Sin City. It’ll just take some time. And I’m sure it’ll be worth the wait.
