Gundam Swarovski Particles

gundamswarovski.jpgThe most I’ve ever paid for a t-shirt was $30 at a 1996 KISS reunion tour concert. I can’t imagine shelling out $1690 each for a t-shirt, even if it features an RX-78 Gundam or a MS-06 Zaku entirely made out of Swarovski crystals.

Who ever is responsible for this bling clearly does not understand the nature of the target audience. Gundam fans don’t shell out $1690 for shirts. They shel out $1690 for Perfect Grade Gunpla! Oh man, I would soooo buy a PG Hi-Nu, Ex-S, or Nightingale.

If these two blinged out shirts are too rich for your blood, Bandai and Mastermind plan to release less expensive versions that will be made of glass beads and will retail for only $320 each. Again, $320 for a shirt? Not so much. $320 for a Perfect Grade RX-78 or MS-06, OH YEAH!

    What, and not a gold-plated Hyaku-Shiki?

Okay, maybe a 24karat Hyaku Shiki might be worth that kind of money. Maybe.

There’s no way either of those shirts are even WORTH as much as their claim.

And if I see anyone walking down the street wearing one of these, I will kick them in the chest, in hope that the pattern breaks or something.

I bet they’re not even machine washable.
