Kamen Rider Dragon Knight Rumors

Rumors have been Rider Kicking around that the cast of “Kamen Rider Dragon Knight” walked out on director Steve Wang. The source stems from a conversation HaiTien78 over at Henshin Justice had with Tony Oliver at Anime Vegas. Later in the thread, a user named Masked Rider Aftershock confirmed the opposite in a conversation with a cast member who said that no one walked out.

The warriors for great justice are very well connected. One of them played soccer with Kageyama of Zabee fame. One taught Kamen Rider Ketaros wushu. So when a user says they talked to a cast member, I’d say it’s a strong possibility it’s so.

Whatever the truth happens to be, I hope they make their rumored February 2, 2008 air date. I’m really curious to see how they interpret Agito. And I can’t wait to get my fix of domestic Kamen Rider toys!

    It’s pretty ridiculous if you think about it - those shows are 5 and 6 years old now.

    But after Heroes, anything is possible. Unfortunately. Ryuuki seems too much like it. Lots of Riders, lots of stories, lots of prettyboys for the ladies. And one prettygirl in the movie.

    Agito, on the other hand… Agito was all about good guy(s) vs. Da Unkn0wn5. Only Riderm- I mean, BlackJa- I mean, Another Agito died. Happier all round.

    But seriously, what America needs now is a Kamen Rider remake. Post-Heroes (innate super powers/abilities), and Post-Bionic Woman, we need a Bug on a Bike(tm). Of course, Saban won’t be allowed within 400 miles of its production, and picking the right Oyassan would be difficult - need an oldish dude who can still kick some ass, along the lines of a shorter Jon Pertwee.

    I also got word from Steve himself that he and the cast are doing just prime and loving the work they’re doing on the show.

    They even have 4 episodes already in the can. ;^)

    Ah, rumors suck. Really they do. HaiTien heard if from Tony, but who did Tony hear it from and so on and so forth…somewhere in this game of Telephone, “Hey, after we’re done filming today you wanna walk out to that kickass sandwich shop down the street?” becomes “ZOMG CAST WALKOUT SOUND THE ALARMZORZ!!1eleventy”
