Astroboy

Awe! He’s soooo cute!

It’s generally my inclination to bash anything that sounds like American remakes of Japanese animation, but Astroboy is so darn cute I just can’t bring myself to hate. Imagi Animation is the studio behind the CG Turtles movie which by most accounts was pretty faithful to the source material (I still have yet to see it. So many movies, so little time!). And if this image is any indication, I’d say that Astroboy is in good hands.

    Am I the only one who was ever bothered that he is a super powered robot with all sorts of nifty whatchamajiggers yet Pants where never part of his design? seems like something you would think about first and not leave the robo boy half nekkid.

    Was there ever a reason for this?
