Pinhead Remade

With all Hallows Eve upon us comes news of a looming Hellraiser remake. The French duo of Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo will remake the first film featuring Pinhead. The good news is that Clive Barker is producing. If they’re good enough for Clive, they’ve certainly got my attention.

The pair directed Inside, a French thriller released last summer about a pregnant woman haunted by a mysterious woman. Apparently, it impressed Clive enough for him to recruit them for this remake. Inside is scheduled for American distribution by The Weinstein Company.

    I don’t think Clive Barker would get behind something he thought would be crap so I’m at least hopeful this won’t end up bombing horribly.
