Isn’t a lichen some sort of funky fungus? Oh… lychan! Just in time for Halloween, we get some Underworld 3 news.

Underworld: Rise of the Lychans will be a prequel that will explain the origins of the war between the vampires and the lychens. Like that needs a whole movie to tell. Beckinsale will not be returning and she was possibly the only reason to see the first two. The one ray of hope is that it takes place in the Middle Ages. Without access to patent leather or guns with UV-infused bullets, perhaps we’ll actually see vampires and werewolves fight as vampires and werewolves.

That’s really all we want people. Make a vampire and werewolf movie where they do vampire and werewolf shits!
