Come With Batman if You Want to Live
Monday, December 3rd, 2007 at 11:19 pm by JamiThis lovely tidbit comes from Morlock Enterprise’s Nelly:
In case you haven’t heard, Batman and John Connor are one in the same.
My one hesitation here is that having a T4 seems that it is pushing an envelope that might not have that much farther to go. The TV Series will be starting up in January, “The Sarah Connor Chronicles” (maybe Fox is pulling this series out of its originally announce fall 2008 start time due to the strike, keep people going to Fox - new series, not repeats??? Tricky, tricky). *SLIGHT SPOILER ALERT* The TV show ignores the existence of T3. So T4 will either go on some path as the TV show, or will keep to the prior trilogy tale. Now I don’t remember T3, either because I haven’t actually watched it, or because it was just so bad that I have chosen not to. From the details I have been told, either is possible. Lets see where the money grubbing, unoriginal franchise owners go now - I’m hoping for greatness! We need some of that on the big (and little) screen.
Totally agree, Nelly.
This one’s a bit of a mixed bag for me. On the one hand, I really like Christian Bale. On the other hand, although T3 really really sucked (although I really liked Claire Danes and the way the ended the thing), it put a definite book end to the movie franchise. We don’t really need to fill in the blanks between. We know John grows up to kick quite a lot of Skynet ass, so much so that the metal bugger sends Terminators back in time to kill him. We get it. We’re done.
The only possible good thing that might come out of a fourth film is if we get to see some proto-Terminators like a T-12 or T-66 or T-1A or something like that.
Angry Zen Master has “acquired” exclusive audio of an audition for one of these early Terminators.
