Live Action DBZ Movie is REAL!

Jamie Chung has been cast as Sun Gouku’s wife Chi Chi which means that some dumb fucker is actually really for really real making a live-action Dragon Bawl movie. Chung got her big break in 1992 on MTV’s “The Real World.” And she hasn’t done a whole lot since except for a few TV roles here and there. It saddens me to think that this might be her big break because any actress anywhere deserves much better. I dare say that this will suck worse than Dead or Alive and that will certainly hurt Ms. Chung’s chances for future work. Oh, I’m sure she’ll get work. But I can’t imagine that Dragon Bawl will elevate her prospects much beyond geisha 1 or dancer 2.

I’m thinking about preemptively gouging out my eyes.

There already was a dragonball movie. Instead of Goku they named him monkeyboy. It was quite lame.

Bah, the original Dragonball movie is awesome, in a sort of unofficial, unlicensed, 80’s chinese kung fu movie kind of way.

Also looked at the imdb for this and James Masters (ie spike from buffy) is piccolo. Wow. I mean i could see him being an awesome piccolo, painted green and all, but this is all he can get? I guess being typecast as a brit punk vampire kinda shrinks your pool of potential acting roles.
