Okay, yes, I realize that this is probably one of the dumbest things I’ve posted on purpose here on AZM. This is another guilty pleasure, sort of like the Saw movies. It really looks like they’ve extremed the hell out of the show, more ’splodies, shiny new set, roided out gladiators. You can’t beat Hulk “Whacha gonna do when divorce runs wild on you” Hogan as a co-host. And they’ve got a gladiator chick named Helga!

The show premiers on NBC January 6. It looks like they’re also set up to stream episodes online so if you miss it then, you can probably catch it at their site.

    Wow that promo was actually pretty funny. I don’t know about this show, if I’ll actually watch it or not, brings back so many bad memories of the 90’s. Are mullets again the required hair do?

    Damn i used to love me some american gladiators, i remember sneaking out of bed at midnight when i was 8 to watch it. I even watched the british and australian versions who were by that stage really scraping the barrel of gladiator names. Assault was awesome.

    Zomg i just wikipediad and Australian Gladiators is making a comeback in 2008 too. Happy days are here again.

    @Jami
    One of the new guys, he’s one of the reserve Gladiators, Hammer. I guess if one gets hurt or tired he replaces them.
