Now Film Festival - Expendable

Ever wonder what it’s like to be an evil henchman? Reader Wayne W sent along this short film that explores the plight of a newly hired minion:

I’m sure you’re familiar with David Malki !’s comic, Wondermark. He’s done a movie for the Now Film Festival called Expendable, “They may wear jumpsuits with skull logos on them, and they may carry assault rifles, but really they’re ordinary guys just like you and me — concerned about health insurance, pension plans, and making it through the workday without being shot, blown up, and/or karate-chopped by smug, oversexed Englishmen. Expendable is their story.”

I think you posted an earlier trailer for the film, well, here’s the link to the whole thing:

It is VERY funny! Definitely recommended.

LOLZ! Awesome production and quite funny indeed. I will have to check out more of this Now Film Festival.

Sounds like a take off in the during-credits extra scene from the original Austin Powers movie.

I like the end theme song “Man Made Of Guns”.

Actually it was sent to you by Wayne W (me), not William. But that’s OK.
