Slice

My friend Mason Booker of May-Sun Productions entered into a short film competition and asked for some help on his submission. He needed a Yakuza boss and he wondered if I’d be interested. Sure. Why not! Okay, so it’s a fairly stereotypical role, I admit, but who doesn’t want to be a Yakuza boss! We shot for two days on location in Baltimore. Long ass days, but I had a lot of fun on set. The short, “Slice,” won an award for its lighting.

It’s a story about a boy, a girl, and the pizza that changed their lives forever! DUHN DUHN DUUUUUHNNN!

Dude, that evil laugh would be worth the price of admission alone.

I just about died when you were mowing down on the pizza too.

    Nice short - very cheeky.

That’s it, you have to plot world domination now. The evil laugh wants you to.

Awesome! Thoroughly cool. I have a great evil laugh also that I’ve honed over the years, but you do a fantastic job of producing it as needed, I’m not sure I could have done it quite so smoothly.

Very campy, very well done. I just wish the player worked better: I played the whole thing through to buffer it with the sound muted, but when I went to watch it, it was still “watch 5 seconds, buffer for 10″. Frustrating experience, but worth it!

I have to agree that was an excellent evil laugh. Maybe you should consider a career in villain voice acting.
