AZM Bountee

Monday, February 11th, 2008 at 2:39 am by Jami

Thus far, I’ve been woefully inept at marketing my own work. So in a small attempt to address that, I’ve signed up with Bountee to create some fun shirts to sell. Bountee’s service requires you to upload SVG files of your artwork (easy enough to do from Illustrator), but you can use virtually any color. Their printing process also allows for gradients which is quite nice. And there’s no up charge for printing on darker colored shirts unlike CafePress. Granted, you don’t make as much as you would if you were screening them yourself, but if you don’t have the space to store boxes and boxes of gear and aren’t expecting to make a living with your shirt designs, Bountee seems like a perfect place to experiment.

So here are my first six offerings.

Pixie’s Moose - A girl and her moose are not soon parted. Umm… yeah.

Hello Ninja - These are some redesigns of shirts I used to have on CafePress. They did pretty well, but I never really liked CafePress much. So I thought I’d revisit the design and make it that much more cuter.

Office Ninja - Beware the ninja TPS report!

Kamen Revolutionary - The masked revolution is upon us! Are you prepared? RIDER KICK!

Monster’s Chew Toy - Well, what else is a giant sea monster going to use for teething?

Grab one or two if you like. Share them with your friends! And if you’re so inclined, you can also vote for them. I’ll be posting more as I come up with cute and silly designs. I’ve also hooked up the Bountee widget for my account in the sidebar so if you loose track of this post, just check out what I’ve got up there. Enjoy!

Slap that office ninja on a collared shirt. I’d finally have proof of ninja skills that I’ve been bragging about from my cube.
