The Doctor’s Eleventh Regeneration: Destro

Doctor Destro

Can the Ninth Doctor save us from the horrors of the G.I. Joe live action movie?

Word is that David Murray, originally slated for the role of Destro, could not get a work VISA in time for the production start date of February 13th. So Christopher Eccleston regenerated into the role. Well, they’re certainly making it hard for me to not want to see this stupid thing.

Now, if they replace the Techno Vipers with Cybermen, I’ll be a happy geeky boy.

Huh. So Eccleston returns? I liked him in his one season and was rather disappointed when he retired. I understood his reason, he didn’t want to be another Tom Baker, but still: one season does not horrible type-casting make.

Then again, what’s the point? I don’t have cable or satellite, I don’t pirate them, so it’ll be ages before I see them.
