Indiana Jones and the Kingdom Of HOLY HELL THIS LOOKS SWEET!

Okay, this looks like a lot of fun. I admit I was much more than skeptical when the news first broke that there was going to a fourth Indy film. But this trailer made me smile. Good ol’ Indy getting into giant heaps of trouble.

I love the sequence in the hanger where the Arc is studied by “top” men. Top. Nice little nod to the first one. And from the IMDB entry, Karren Allen is back as Marion Ravenwood. The car chase near the cliff looks a bit CGified which was my initial concern. But overall, I think I’m actually looking forward to this bugger of a sequel.

Sometimes you just need to see a big honkin action movie.

How did they manage to make Ford look about 10 years younger? It was almost as if the Last Crusade took place a only a year ago. Good job on the make-up, team.

Yep, I could use a big honkin’ action movie! It definitely does look sweet.

It’s like the chipped a shard off of my childhood, melted it down, refined it, and then poured it onto a filmreel. That’s exactly what that’s like.

I was 14 when Raider’s of the Lost Ark came out. My friends and I had recently discovered the joys of Super-8 MM film making and spent that summer putting together our own Indie-Indy film. :-)

I actually got a tear in me eye when I saw that trailer. Brought back a lot of really good memories. :-)

Welcome back Dr. Jones, it’s been far too long.
