AZM, Furious and Unrepentant

Monday, March 10th, 2008 at 1:43 pm by Jami

Sometimes there are posts I want to write that just won’t fit on this blog. So I’ve created not one, but two glorious and shiny new spaces, Furious Hypocrite and Unrepentant Hate Machine.

Furious Hypocrite is my wacky and sarcastic take on politics. Every week, I plan on dropping in a political cartoon or two. And I’ll be posting at least once a day, five times a week (much like I do here at AZM).

The Unrepentant Hate Machine is sort of a collective project. Readers can write in describing what they hate the most in three sentences or less. Think of it as free form haiku of hate! Let the Machine hate for you. Here’s an example:

The Machine hates winter already.

That groundhog should be fired.

On a grill.

So if you’ve got an interest in politics and how absolutely ridiculous things have gotten or if you just want to let out some hate, head on over the Furious Hypocrite and Unrepentant Hate Machine for more madness.

Oh, and I hope to be adding a new feature here at AZM by the end of the month. Three words.

Cute. Monsters. Daily.

DUHN DUHNN DUUUUUUHHHHHNNNNNN!!!!!

With regard to UHM, you could let the folks you trust who have blogspot accounts just post things themselves.

I say that because I’m too lazy to go through the process of submitting brief messages of hate. It is much less satisfying than just posting it myself.

I’ve submitted my own little ration of Hate.

As to letting people post on their own, while it (in my mind) sounds like an easy way to do things, I’m of the opinion that it would detract from the collective mind theme of the Machine.

@greg, bully idea! invitation is on its way!

@thomas C, well, if the hate isn’t strong enough, the Machine can always edit said hate for more hateness.

I’m more than happy to stick to the stylistic guidelines Jamie has started with. Since the actual poster is not immediately obvious, identity gets subsumed into the blog itself. No hate for that — it’s just like my day job! :)
