Bone Goes to the Movies

Jeff Smith’s Bone is heading to the theaters! Whoohoo!

Warner Brothers has picked up the film rights and will work with Smith to determine if it will be a live action or animated adaptation. The best part? Jeff Smith is executive producer! Awesome! You can be sure that whatever type of adaptation comes out of this, it will be as close to Smith’s vision as is possible. Input from the creators made Hell Boy and Sin City very successful. I expect Bone will find similar success.

    Awesome! I read Bone for the first time a little more then a month ago. I hope that its animation. Although live action mixed in with animation for the Bones might work, but seems unlikely.

    I had almost lost all hope after that thing with Nickelodeon fell through awhile back…this is awesome. I’m so @#$%ing happy right now.
