New Wanted Trailer

Monday, March 10th, 2008 at 4:13 pm by Jami

Best. Fraternity. Evar!

I mean, I was in a co-ed frarority in college, but we never had sexy assassin chicks who could drive like that!

Some say that this looks like a solid adaptation of Wanted, others have told me that it’s way off. I still have to grab the graphic novel, but what ever it is, this movie looks hawt! Oh, the pants! THE PANTS!

Thanks to reader Devin Wolfe for sending this over. You can watch it in HD and various other flavors over at MySpace’s Trailer Park.

Its funny cause I JUST read this comic last night, and after watching that, it seems to be something like the story, but not entirely. I won’t say too much other than it doesn’t really seem to have the same key features of the comic, but this still looks like a great movie on its own :)

HoooKAY. How many violations of the laws of physics did I just witness?

Still, looks like fun. The concept of “curving” is just too freaky.

Curving bullets? Sounds like a job for Mythbusters! I suspended all reality when Jolie got the dude in the car without breaking off both his legs.

I had never heard of “Wanted” before, but now I’m intrigued.

Man, from the point of view of someone with a physics degree, the idea of curving bullets just makes me want to cry.

Regardless of that, I have been looking forward to this movie since I first saw a preview for it. Suspension of disbelief is easy when the problem is small. When it’s something like that movie where the earth’s core suddenly stopped spinning, or egyptians fighting mammoths like in 10000 BC I have no desire to see the movie because the break with reality is so great that the attempt to present the story as if it were real just makes it impossible for me to rationalize. It’s a weird problem that I’m sure I’m not the only one who has.
