Aliens versus Predator: Requiem was… entertaining. I certainly could have done without the human cows, but it was fun to watch. Call it a guilty pleasure. Very guilty. So I’m somewhat looking forward to a third AVP on the way. AVP-R pulled in $41 million domestically and $128.8 million world wide so a sequel is a no-brainer.

If the rumor pans out and the Strause brothers return to the franchise, they will take the alien grudge match to outer space. Sold! I loved the brief glimpse of the Predator home world and I hope we get to see more. And no humans this time. Please! They sucked all the life out of AVP-R. I don’t care if the whole movie is Predator’s talking with subtitles or no dialog at all. I want to see some hardcore alien space beat downs!
