Valiant returns in a huge way!

Paramount has just acquired the film rights to Valiant Comics’ Harbinger! The film will be co-produced by the newly formed Valiant Entertainment group which is also relaunching Valiant Comics. No better way to relaunch your lineup than with a shiny new movie!

Brett Ratner is attached as producer and director which sort of deflates my excitement. He’s responsible for all three Rush Hours and that last X-Men travesty (although I have to thank him for getting rid of whiny boy Summers. Blech). And since it’s been a while since Valiant has put books in front of fans, he might get it into his head to muck about with Harbinger and do one of them modern, slicky boy revamps. Still, it’s good to see Valiant back in the saddle after so many years.
