Julie Benz Stars in Saw V

Julie Benz

Julie Benz of Buffy, Angel, Rambo, and Dexter fame will star in Saw V which opens this year on October 24. I’m amazed at how fast these things are made. Production began on March 15 so they’re fast tracking this sucker out right quick.

No details on the plot so no idea if this one will be a prequel featuring Jigsaw or some other sort of twisty continuity curfluffle kerfluffle that will still manage to bring Jigsaw back, but I just thought this picture of Julie Benz as a Jedi chef was cute. Don’t worry, I’ll tell you all about Saw V when I see it in the theater so you don’t have to.

    As I understand it, not a single one of the Saw movies has had a shooting schedule in excess of 45 days.

    Just checked it, 18 for the first, 25 for the second, don’t know the third and 32 for the fourth.

    Am I like the only person in America who thinks these movies are just dumb as shit? I thought the first one was novel, but gave up after the second one.

    No, no, you’re completely right. They are dumb. But I can’t help but watch them over and over again! Guilty guilty guilty pleasure. It’s totally my fault they keep making more.
