For the major chains, all we have are RT, Applebee's, Chili's, and Red Lobster. We won't eat at the last, and we're sick to death of Chili's because in Alamogordo, the closest town to my wife's house, all there is are Applebee's and Chili's. We would kill for a Friday's!

RT is pretty decent. My wife likes the puffed chicken pot pie, and we usually both get the salad bar and frequently the dumpling appetizer, though my wife isn't a huge fan of their sauce. I'd also recommend their hand-crafted lemonade, and they have a variation of an Arnold Palmer that's quite good. Both of those drinks are free refills, so it takes some of the sting out of the price.

We don't eat at these places exclusively, we have a number of very good local restaurants that we frequent.
