   2 Network TV debut. That’s when I’ll see it. Maybe As an admitted DBZ fan in middle and early high school (I was starting tailback on my football team in HS and skipped a week of practice to see Goku finally go Super Saiyan!), I can honestly say that this travesty won’t even warrant a slot on my NetFlix queue…

   6 The only way this could work out is if this was a flash back to one of the hermits as a child or something, which makes me shudder to think about what sort of plat that would imply. As for the hair, which should be black and spiky, I have no idea how that is going to look. A more normal spike hair do, or whatever the hell he’s got, looks lazy, but a true to show style done with hairspray would just look freaky. Goku’s hair was a very continuous shape, I wonder how they’re going to handle it? But this guy does look way to soft to have lived alone for a number of alone, he does have the innocent moron look kind of down (I say moron instead of child because he is way to big to look childish). Who knows, maybe he’s just a minor character and he really wanted to wear the costume, admit it, given the chance you’d wear the costume too.

   7 Author Comment @Hinkle, well, it’s good that they’ve got a real martial artist as a stunt double. He’s got the moves, that’s for sure. Why not just cast him then? Why use this useless Chatwin kid?

   8 I see little reason you would even expect the Dragonball movie to be superb, considering the source material. It could definitely turn out being a really fun movie to watch, but grade A writing and acting? I don’t think so!

   9 Okay, admittedly after seeing the video posted I am some what reassured that any movie with him in an action roll whipping out the kung fu is worth seeing. But I also have to admit that anything where Naruto is a significant step up in plot making sense is probably going to make your brain bleed profusely if you think about it too hard.

    11 They make characters in Speed Racer purposefully look like ANIME CHARACTERS but they can’t give Goku his signature hair? At least something similar to it?! Go look at Advent Children! Or for that matter, ANY jrocker. It’s doable goddamnit.

    12 Oooooooooooooooh. I just thought of something. Doesn’t Yamcha have a uniform too? Maybe this is Yamcha with his hair normal and no scars resting from practicing a stunt?
