Official Dragon Knight Trailer

Friday, April 25th, 2008 at 9:00 am by Jami

I just messed both sets of pants (yes, I keep an extra pair on hand for random acts of crunchiness).

YES! YES! FUCK YES!

This kicks Power Rangers square in the crotch. Waaay up in the crotchal area! They’re definitely taking the serious tone of the Heisei era Kamen Rider shows and kicking it up quite a few notches. I’d love to see their take on Faiz and Kabuto. SO AWESOME! Will have to get used to them saying “Kamen Rider” instead of “Henshin,” but I can live with that.

The fans over at HJU are supremely overjoyed! Thanks to Keith for breaking the news. Sometimes fandom is its own reward. Sometimes they fly you out to LA to hang with the cast and crew!

Okay, I’m so down for this. Finally an Americanized toku that looks good, really good.

No official word on who will broadcast it, but I’m hoping for an after school time slot on regular broadcast. This is so full of awesome everyone must see it!!

I am no longer worried! Now I’m excited! If this does end up being as good as it looks, I agree that Faiz or Kabuto would be awesome. Especially if Faiz got it’s CG upgraded.

I haven’t watched any dubbed/remade tokusatsu in years (they shoot power rangers in this country but we don’t get it on our tv anymore, bloody typical) but this actually seems like they have put some decent effort into remaking and reshooting this, not just some slap dab dub and 5 mins of real actors shot for each episode. If they can keep consistency in cg and effects across an entire episode then this could be very good.
