Heck even as far back as the 60's and 70's kids programming has been 'educational' in the wrong kinda ways. Don't even get me started on some of the drugs, stealing and almost sexual deviance in some of the shows like Mr Benn.(habitual theft while high on drugs, tripping), Bill & Ben, the flower pot men(racism), Muffin the Mule(not kidding about the name). 80's/90's cartoons were just as bad when viewed with an adult's perceptual filters, I see Thundercats and cannot help thinking of Furries(Thank 4chan for raping my childhood(!)). I can now see clearly that He-man and She-ra were populated almost exclusively with closet homosexuals of both genders.
