Uwe Boll has released a response to his lack of theaters for Postal, and I’m not sure if he’s genuinely upset or just upset for sympathy…..nah he’s just upset for sympathy.

“To all of you writing now about me and the fact that POSTAL is not getting screens.its okay ..its fun kicking a guy nonstop who is on the ground you are all not getting it that i’m the guy who made it against the big hollywood system and you are all only busy to destroy me and finish me up and then you YOU WON WHAT ? the attention of the studios, michael bay .. ????? if you damage me you feel closer to Hollywood ? what is your game plan?”

I think he’s hoping to win an Oscar for best director tantrum.

Opening a comedy with 9/11 footage takes balls. I’d even say it takes more balls than Robert Downey, Jr. doing blackface. I’ll give you that. But it must be done with awesome. And if there’s any director that lacks the awesome, well, look no further.

Rolly Polly Bolly, there’s no vast evil conspiracy that’s out to get you. That petition to stop you from making movies is only clocking in a little less than 280,000 signatures. Hardly enough haters for a real conspiracy. No, the truth is that as bad as your video game movies are, theaters know that a few people are more likely to shell out money for a Bloodrayne or a Dungeon Siege than for something without that name recognition. Video games movies have a built in audience. Postal just has you.

You’re the shitty video game movie director. That’s you. You’re not the clever revolutionary counter-culture director who will blow away audiences with his great insight and clever wit. That’s so far from you. Rolly Bolly, know your role. And for fuck’s sake, SHUT YOUR MOUTH!
