Kermit is Hurt

Wednesday, July 2nd, 2008 at 8:50 am by Jami

Long known for bringing laughter to children the world around, reader Michael Tricksey sent over these videos that expose the inner pain of Kermit the Frog. Who knew the price of fame is sucking a fuzzy wang. Kermit’s version of NIN’s “Hurt” is horribly disturbing and yet strangely moving at the same time.

And just to weird you out a bit further, here’s Kermit’s version of “Creep.”

I’ve seen this before, but every time I see him say the line “Everyone I know goes away in the end” and it pans over to that picture of Jim Henson, it kills me on the inside.

These are old, but oh my god they are still so good.

I don’t have a link, but the man who designed Big Bird, Snuffy, and many others passed away a few weeks ago. His name was Kermit, but the frog wasn’t named after him.

I remember Johnny Cash’s version of Hurt, it’s a pretty intense song.
