Mega Man 9, So Mega it’s Retro!

Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008 at 3:22 pm by Jami

The old school returns with Mega Man 9! Seriously, it looks like this game just jumped out of the 80’s! It’s going to be 1000 points on WiiWare (anyone know what that is in real people dollars?).

So fun! You know, it might be cool to see retro versions of current franchises. I think an 8-bit Halo would be a lot of fun. What current franchise would you want to see in sexy 8-bits?

1000 Wii points equals $10 USD. From what the developers have said it’s gonna be HARD too. GAH, I can’t wait! An 8-bit No More Heroes would be awesome, that or a new version of River City Ransom!

Eh, 1000 Wii Points? Damn, I’d heard it was supposed to be only $800. Either way, that’s still a good deal for a new “old-style” MM game.

[…] Not being a huge WoW fan, I totally missed this. Thanks to commentor Julio Jass for digging up Blizzard’s April 1st release of World of Warcraft: The Molten Core. It reminds me of the old Atari Adventure game. I always managed to use the bridge to walk off the screen and get stuck in walls. Stupid bridge. Honestly, I would so play this. […]
