   1 I saw Machine Girl a couple weeks back, I believe, and it was indeed a gorefest. I enjoyed it though, it was a fun movie if you take it for what it is. Can’t go wrong with flying guillotine!

   2 This is pretty much totally off topic, but since the relevant posts are ancient, I figured it didn’t matter which one I put the comment on. Largely on a whim, I have been watching that Witchblade anime from a couple years by getting it from Netflix. It’s definitely inferior to the comic and the old TV show, but it isn’t completely horrible. It’s definitely got more than it’s fair share of pointless fan service (but then, so did the comic sometimes–although the art in that was better than this show), but there is an actual plot in there, and it is mildly interesting. Depending on how it proceeds (I just finished the second disk, and there are 5 or 6), I might give it as many as stars. It’s currently hovering between 2 and 3 right now, for me.
