Angry Zen Minion Devin Wolfe writes in to let us know that Samuel Mother Fucking Jackson is looking to develop a live action movie adaptation of Afro Samurai and would like Andre 3000 to play the title role. I totally missed the boat with Afro Samurai since we don’t have cable. But if Andre 3000 signs on, I’m buying a ticket! That would just be so fucking awesome.

What do you Afro Samurai fans think? Want to see a live action flick or would a full length animation be more satisfying?

    I thought Afro was amazing. Very excited they are doing a season 2. A live action movie would be cool. Not sure how I feel about Andre as the lead though. Hearing Sam’s voice and then having to listen to Andre, that would just be odd. What about Ninja Ninja? He would have to play him too.
