Batman: Crisis on Infinite Gothams

Angry Zen Minion Kevin Bahrt found this awesome mashup of all the movie incarnations of Batman. Well, except for Adam West.

Clearly, I think Christian Bale’s Batman kicks all other square in the teeth. Keaton’s Batman just doesn’t hold up. And although Val and George were decent enough as Bruce Wayne, their Batmen left a lot to be desired. However, Christian’s Batman voice still makes me chuckle.

So, including all movie and television incarnations, who is your favorite Batman?

I still like the 90’s toon Bat. It’s simply the one I grew up with. Christian Bale is a really good Bat but he isn’t the same character as the toon Bat. Same way Heath Ledger is the Joker but not the same as Mark Hamill, no one will ever beat Mark Hamill’s laugh.

The toon Batsy was great, but I think Adam West is my favorite over all. Even if the campiness is what a lot of people hated and pointed to as part of the decline of superheroes.

In my opinion this video is much cooler than that mash-up. Just because it shows that Batman is nothing without his Joker :-D
