Monday, July 6th, 2009 at 9:07 am by JamieAngry Zen Minion Kenneth Lyons, Jr. sent along this English language trailer for Evangelion 1.0: You Are (Not) Alone. The movie, originally released in 2007 in Japan, is sort of a remix of the first six episodes of the series and is the first of four films in the Rebuild of Evangelion project. Funimation is giving the film a very limited theatrical release. If you’re going to ComiCon, the film will be showing from July 22-26. There are also a lot of showing in Ontario for you Angry Canadian Zen Minions. The rest of us will just have to wait for the DVD release.
Or not. Because we’ve seen it already. You know, the first time we saw the series. Meh.
Okay, I’m kind of interested in seeing Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance because there’s a new character, Mari, and we get to see a new Eva Unit 05. But then I realize what a sucker I was to believe that Death and Rebirth and End of Evangelion would properly finish the series. Ah well. I know I’ll end up seeing this at some point. I just can’t help myself.
