Descent 2 Teaches Us Never to Go Back Into the Cave Full of Creepy Flesh-Eating Crawlers

Audrey and I went into the first The Descent thinking that we were going to get a chicky horror flick full of boobs and hawt girl-on-girl action. Cause, you know, when you have a horror movie with a predominantly female cast you get lots of boobs and hawt girl-on-girl action. This was not the case AT ALL with The Descent. Instead, we got a really suspenseful and quite terrifying horror flick with lots of girl power and ass kicking! Hells to the yeah!

The Descent 2 looks like it will deliver much of the same and I’m ready for more. I would seriously kick someone’s taint out if they tried to make me go back into a cave that I just spent bloody days trying to crawl out of, but they somehow manage to grab Sarah Carter and chuck her down into that fucked up cave again. My guess is that she goes nuts and starts to turn into one of those creepy flesh-eating, pale ass crawly things that she decimated last film.

Brazil gets it this September. Russia gets it this November. I’m hoping we get it in October. Whenever it’s released, I’m fucking there!

It’s funny they made a second one when the original ending had the only survivor believing she climbed up out of the cave, getting into her car and driving away then having waking up realizing she didn’t get out of the cave, she’d just lost her mind and the things were coming to get her. Seems they wanted to get more of this series.
If i was that girl, they’d have to kill me before i’d go back down that hole…

When Audrey and I saw it in the theater, there was a different ending. The movie stopped right when she got into the car. We had to check it out online to see the original ending where she woke up and realized she was still in there.

I think it works both ways. But I totally agree, no way in hell would you get me back down that fucking cave!

Man I loved the first one, I had the same expectation I thought it was just gonna be another stupid horror movie where you don’t really give a shit about the characters who are mostly just there to get killed anyway.

But this show was awesome the actors did a great job acting like real people caught in a crazy situation, great suspense film. And yeah I would go bat shit crazy if they tried to drag me back down there.

I watched the first one back to back with The Cave which really served to highlight just how good The Descent was… and how bad the Alien-wannabe Cave was.
