Gotta be honest, when AZM Ally Mike Dent told me he was interviewing the composer of the new Ultraman movie score that’s coming later this month, I did not picture a White dude. I figured Tsuburaya would pick from its stable of Ultra composers. But they went way outside the box and tapped Mike Verta for the gig which is just so completely awesome.

The interview is great. You can really tell Verta had a blast composing the score for this soon-to-be Ultraman classic. His enthusiasm for the flick makes me all the more excited to see it when it finally gets fansubbed. Check it out!
