Angry Zen Minion Jeff Posey sent along this latest trailer for Kick-Ass. I believe Nicholas Cage redeems his rather lukewarm performance as Johnny Blaze in that awful Ghost Rider thing with his somewhat subdued performance as Big Daddy here. But I believe we can all agree that Chloe Moretz as Hit-Girl will be the break out star of 2010. Thank god for little girls.

    I sincerely hope they play that wonderfully jolly feel-good rock music while they are killing bad guys.

    …it’s still really freakin’ wierd. The girl who plays Hit Girl also plays the voice of Darby in the animated “My Friends Tigger and Pooh” that my little three year old likes to watch. o_o; Every single time I see a trailer, I’m struck with that juxtaposition. But again….Do Want.

    I have to admit, this made me laugh and has me curious to see some of the other characters from the comic series in movie form. I never read the comic so it’s all fresh and new to me, which i think is for the best. No pre-conceived notions.

    Oh COOL.

    Goin’ on the frakkin’ LIST.

    And I swear that growing up on the streets of Coney Island in the 70s, one of the more edgy sports for bored teens was “mugger hunting” … ah, good times. *SNARK* So this movie not only gives much fresh, but also weirdly… nostalgia.
