If you’re dumb enough to believe that gay marriage is going to take away your rights and bring an end to freedom, get the fuck out of my country. You shit heads, you fucking shit heads. You preach about a god who loves everyone and in the same breath condemn people for falling in love. Nice god there. You make religion sound so fucking ignorant and hypocritical. My wish for 2010 is that fucktards like this get slapped in the head with a giant reality glaive and stay the fuck home when it comes time to vote for gay marriage. It’s the new damn millennium. Let people marry who they want, gay, straight, transgender, bi, whatever.

    What the hell does being a doctor have to do with gay marriage. The only reason I can think of that she would lose her job is if she refused a paitiant because they were gay and married. And then she should because it’s illegal to turn away a patiant because of race, gender, religion or sexual preference. Not to mention bad for business.

    If America wants to turn away gay marrage, then they’re turning away business. My work is super tight with the Toronto City Hall marrage chambers and a good portion of business (wedding photography) is from gay couples getting married outside of the US.

    It is both a sad that they have to go to such means, but fortunate that there is an option like this available, however unesscessary it ends up being.

    Honestly, there needs to be a division between the legal/governmental definition of marriage and the religious definition.

    Government gives legal and tax benefits to couples that combine their lives for many reasons and that benefit should not be limited to the religious definition, but should be defined more as ’2 consenting individuals of legal age’. Sex, sexual pref, race, etc should have nothing to do with it.

    Religion/churches give marriage a ‘moral’ standing that applies to their individual beliefs, and should not be restricted from that. Churches should have legal protection to say ‘we choose not to give church blessing to couples that do not follow the tenants of our faith’ (ie.. you can’t sue a church for refusing to marry you if you violate their beliefs).

    It is such bullshit that this is an issue in this day and age, and I suspect that with the way the voting demographic is shifting, in 10 years this won’t be an issue at all.

    That’s pretty much my problem too, that they’re denied equal rights under the law, which is wrong, simply due to religious discomfort with accepting homosexuality, and I agree completely with the solution you propose.

    It may just take a while for such a common sense solution to be implemented, though, simply because there are people who actually think the way the people do in this video.

    Did i miss some thing?Can gay people control the weather?Could that mean storm?Must Resist erg to wright a fanfic.Ok here come Mr.History to save the day.First marriage predate wrighten history.Yes that right marriage isn’t part of any religion so stf.Second gay marriage existed in ancient Rome yes that right gay marriage predate the bible (slightly).Third the bible doesn’t have any option on marriage as being holy or even important.Most men in the bible have several wives and a few concubines.Fourth i seriously doubt any school are teaching any one about any kind of sexuality.I know even in sex ed They only cover like 30 min of how baby’s are made.Same thing i seen 9 times on the discovery channel.Fifth Hay doc wile your at it why don’t you refuse to treat those evil brown skin people wile your at it.I bet that will go over really well.

    I love their web site. They have a wonderful vid on the biblical definition of marriage, which would probably piss off a lot of fundies if people started using those cited verses for their argument.
