Apparently, Kirsten Dunst is Turning Japanese

Tuesday, February 23rd, 2010 at 9:52 am by Jamie

I guess now that she’s not going to play MJ anymore and I guess now that no one’s going to give him another Terminator movie ever, Kirsten Dunst and McG have some time to dick around Akihabara. Along with artist Takashi Murakami, who we’ve featured before, Kirsten, McG, and Murakami have unleashed the Akihabara Majokko Princess. Huh?

Be warned, once you see it, you cannot unsee it.

Thanks, I think, to AZM Ally Hawk for sending this over.

OH! NSFW because of cartoon boobage.

To quote the oft forgot “Not Another Teen Movie” (a rare event in and of itself…)
“This make me sad in pants.”

I would think walking around japan singing i think i’m turning Japanese would eventually get my ass kicked.Well there was a Yoko costplayer so it did take away the pain a bit.

I….don’t know why, but i like it. She looks cute in blue hair and looks like she’s having fun. It’s not like there aren’t a bunch of cosplayers in Japan, who’ll care about one more? Seriously you have to enjoy life and take things light, and i’m sure when this offer came up she was like….do i dare to do this? What the hell! Can’t live life afraid of what others think.

Heh. That was a lot of fun! I’ve had a copy of The Vapor’s original on my iPod for as long as I’ve had an iPod.

Yes, I made it all the way through, Jack.

    Brain meets hurting…

On the bright side, at least I’ve gotten over the death of the Maguire/Dunst Spider-man franchise.

    Love ya,

@Dylan, that part really bothered me, where they’re standing like manikins and she’s singing in between them. No good.

I liked it, goes very well in hand with Murakami’s critique on japanese consumist culture, also Dunst is unbearably cute…

oh @Dylan Takeshi Murakami IS Japanese, and although Dunst may have collaborated during the creative process this is definitely His. so, it’s more like Murakami using Dunst as his Prop, is it not?

I laughed at how pathetic that was. I lasted 30 seconds into it. I didn’t care for the original song, and I don’t care for this shit remake.

I did love how all the Asian people had this look of ‘Ugh. Are you fucking serious?’ on their faces.

I was waiting for Dunce-t to do the chinky eyes to complete this fail of a video.

Glad at least one post here is referencing Murakami’s role in this. Break the surface tension! Do your homework kids!

it’s a cover of an 80′s song about a guy who’s wanking off to pictures Asian models. what do you want of course it was going to be creepy. Listen to the lyrics once “I’m turning Japanese” = orgasm face ~.~
