I fucking knew it! Thanks to AZM Ally Hawk for uncovering this video footage that proves once and for all that Zordon was a racist, misogynistic pig of a floating head!

    What the hell was Zordon anyway? He’s some magic blue guy in a jar why in all the shows I watched as a kid did they never explain that?

    They explained it in the movie Lurklen.
    He’s in the tube because it gives him the power to stay alive forever.
    It’s really fast and loose with why he’s in the tube or how it allows him to live forever, but that’s the basic gist of it.

    Who the hell would want to live forever in a tube? That sort of rules out all the best parts of living forever. Now I just kinda feel sorry for him.

    A man asked his doctor if he thought he’d live to be a hundred.

    The doctor asked the man, “Do you smoke or drink?”

    “No,” he replied, “I’ve never done either.”

    “Do you gamble, drive fast cars, and fool around with women?” inquired the doctor.

    “No, I’ve never done any of those things either.”

    “Well then,” said the doctor, “what do you want to live to be a hundred for?”

    I’m pretty sure they explained the tube once or twice in the series. Before he could seal her away, Rita trapped Zordon in a dimensional time warp. The tube was the only means of keeping him anchored to this dimension, if I remember correctly. The movie was actually outside of regular continuity.
