Well I think I’m gonna have to see this one in 3D, which will be a first. At least since I was eight and You could only see 3D shows at an Imax.

Cortharis, the overall theme of even the original Tron is nothing new. The real test of the movie will be the presentation of it. I’m just glad they waited until they had the CGI technology to do it right.

So far from the trailer it looks like they’re on the right track.

I have my doubts about this. I’m sure it will look fantastic, Avatar looked fantastic. But what I’m very skeptical on is if the script can match the visuals. It’s been a long time for Tron, and Tron carved itself out a path on how being inside a computer/ computer game would look and play out. That was cool because I don’t think anyone had done that before. But I don’t know what Tron Legacy will have to show and tell, I feel it’ll be a path traveled many times.

Gotta say that I love the heat wave style ripples they added to the discs and the trails left by the light cycles. Can’t wait for this to come out. If only I had an Imax near me so that I could see it in Imax 3D.
