Being a Gundam and Halo fan, I just couldn’t resist. Haro Chief is available at the YP MySoti store. So if you’ve got a Covenant or Zeon problem at home, Haro Chief can help you take care of that!
So when a girl tells you she’s downloaded All Riders vs. Great Shocker you marry her. You get on your goddamn knees and you marry her right the fuck there! Also, never trust the sarcastic art student wearing a bloody t-shirt. No good can come from her.
Episode 2 of Jabroni Pictures Battle Hero Absolute is up. They’ve really amped up the emotional entanglements in this episode. I’m loving all the Kamen Rider shout outs and the editing is quite good. Also, I believe I can hear the dulcet tones of one AZM Ally Mike Dent as the announcer. Congrats on the series, gang. Looking forward to more!
I don’t know about you, but I’m the kind of maniacal gamer who will go into a peasant’s hut and just trash the place to find a stupid ruppie. That’s just how I roll. Although, I’ve never tried to take grandma. That’s a little too kinky for me.
Bandai is releasing a new series of display models starting with one of my favorite Gundams, the RX-93 Nu Gundam. The new Formania line is composed of ABS, PVC, and metal parts with realistic, intricate mechanical details that make the Formania RX-93 Nu Gundam an awe inspiring collectors piece. The head moves as well as the shoulder armors and backpack and the center hatch opens up to reveal the Nu Gundam’s cockpit. As a display piece, it comes fully assembled which is slightly disappointing. It’s always fun to put together highly detailed gunpla and to sand things down and modify them slightly. But this is some serious piece of kit. Right now they’ve got it up at HobbyLink Japan for ¥12,000 (about $130.54 USD). Oh boy, and my birthday’s coming up! In, like, two months and shit, but still!
AZM Ally deepfreeze writes in with word that when the Gunpla Real Grade 1/1 Scale Gundam RX-78-2, or Great Big Fucking Gundam as I like to call it, shows up to defend JR Higashi-Shizuoka Station it will come armed with a full scale beam saber! *sniff* It’s so beautiful. So, so beautiful. The Gunpla Real Grad something something Gundam will be on display from July 24 to January 10, 2011. I think I will have to go to there soon!

Two years ago, I first heard about this film. Now we get word from Angry Zen Minion Ward McCaul that The Good, The Bad, The Weird is actually scheduled to drop in US theaters on April 23!
So check this out. Three Korean men run into each other on a train in the middle of the Manchurian desert to find a treasure map that’s also being sought by the Japanese army. It’s kind of a Pan-Asian Western and it reeks of what we know as the smell of awesome sauce! So keep your eyes out mid April cause this shit is going to be epic!
AZM Ally Dave Reimer sends word that Hugo Weaving is in negotiations to play the Red Skull. Truth be told, I’m not a huge Captain America fan. I don’t actively dislike the character, but I’m not terribly excited about the movie either. If Weaving is cast, I think that’s one of the only reasons I’ll be seeing this flick. He can get a menace in his voice that will go perfectly with the Red Skull. And although I don’t think his physique matches up with the way the Skull is typically portrayed, I think his performance will overshadow the comic book version. Hope this one pans out.
