What. The. Fuck.

I half expect him to jump off his chair, strip off that robe, and start shaking his junk at the camera.  Forget the fucking Cracker Jack rings, there’s absolutely no way I can take him seriously.

    The only thing that really gets to me about his overall design are the huge glasses. That seems kind of off.

    Though, having said that, I think this poster lacks the needed impact for a main villain. There’s nothing about this that suggest he’s dangerous or a threat of any kind; he’s lounging. If they’d really wanted to cut a striking figure with Mandarin, they should probably have picked a different pose.

      Definitely getting that “ex Korean War Vet” vibe here. There was a documentary on the History Channel some years back about Korean Vets staying there and taking on this mishmash US Army / Traditional Korean aesthetic, and apparently the artifacts crafted from that life style actually contribute heavily to some collectors markets.

    Maybe that’s part of his… charm. He looks ludicrous, but he’e really way dangerous and MUY LOCO. Definitely got a whiff of that kinda Asian-flava “don’ give a shit” vibe goin’ on in the Trailer.
